Well after a few failed attempts to meet up and Ice Fish my good friend Chris(christhefish) and I were able to get me on the ice for the first time and off it without death( which was my fear).with it being finals week we stayed local and iced 30 or so fish..... Man is it FUN. I repeat it is extremely FUN....i now know why you all are excited about this time of year. The best part of the day was after hooking up with a decent bow, I was bringing it up the water column to the hole and it came off. my jig shot out of the hole. I looked towards chris with frustration and then out jumped the trout. We just sat there laughing and staring at the fish and creating the mental memory of this experience. It was a great trip with a great friend. Probably going to have to invest in some ice fishing equipment now.
