I have seen and reported 3 wolves in Utah over the past several years. One in the Uintas next to Lost Lake (and again the next weekend same area) One in Farmington Flats (yes, above Farmington) and the other up by Snowville. Each time the DWR treated me like an idiot and denied the presence of wolves in Utah...Denial ain't just a river in Egypt...

If they acknowledge we have them then what. Feds and tree hugging wolf idiots sticking their nose in. If they get shot and are just a large coyotes..............

Good for our elk and deer herd!

Heck, if you see one, put it down, drive to Idaho and buy a $30 permit, tag the dumb thing, then get it rugged and on your wall. Remember, they don't exist in Utah.

Agreed

You should treat wolves like cigarettes, smoke a pack a day!

Agreed there easy to to get a responce from to locate also. Wolves are very teritorial and if you start throwing chalenge calls there going to step up if any are in the area! Just dont forget head shots are the best for a wolf.. not only will it kill them but will save the pelt for any thing you want to have done with it.

I think you have to also buy a hunting lic $150.00?

I haven't seen one but heard of them in coalville area reusing havoc on the ranches and a ranger up by flaming gorge told me there up there. Utah has them all right!!! Just a matter of time before they destroy hunting in utah like the tragedy in Idaho.

Oh no, you might not be able to kill for fun because another animal is killing to survive.

I do have fun killing coyote's. A big part of the enjoyment is the fact that I'm saving mule deer. The nimrods who reintroduced wolves have on their shoulders the decimation of the elk herds already. If they come here (if they aren't already) they will wipe out our herds just like they are doing in other States. I have no sympathy for wolves and don't have any idea why anyone would.

These animals kill out of fun more than the kill to survive,Do your homework before you get on here and say stuff like that. There reintroduction was more about taking money away from use than it was having balance in Yellowstone. they should be shot on site in utah we have enough coyotes to keep a good healthy balance in Utah herds. This is very bad news,do you liking wildlife when your out fishing? Or hunting? these animals will take that away from you, you know that right. there like an out of control poacher that we can't do a damn thing about. [frown]

dude fishing is hunting!!! 1 in the same!!! life is life no mater how we harvest it. what you stated is bs!!! and i hunt for meat..

There is no scientific evidence to support your claim. Wolves kill and eat until they're full, and sometimes when they're full they'll abondened thier kill.
