Fished Chesterfield today. A good 12 inches of ice. Fishing was slow but when we caught one it was a very nice fish. Picture is of a 5 lb. fish caught on a jigging rapala. 23.5 inches long.

Was there as well, it was my son Lukas's first time out on the ice.
Ice measured 16.25" where we set up and a balmy 34 F.
My oldest son Bren (10) Caught a 22.5" 4lb 4.5oz hog, and did all the work himself.
Other son Gray (9) had a pole fly into the hole.
Which we managed to snag with a treble and reel in with another 19.5" 3lb 6 oz Hog in tow.
Over all nice day, it was slow but the exchange was large fish.
We stayed about 4 hrs. Fish were caught in the first hour and half 9-10:15 am.

I was at Chesterfield today to. It was my first chance to try out my new shanty so that was cool even tho I didnt really need it cause it was a beautiful day. I only caught 2 fish but the bigger of the two was a nice 6 pound 25 inch rainbow, which is the biggest fish that Ive caught in awhile and definetely the biggest one Ive caught out of the ice. I fought it for five minutes on my little ice rod before I even saw it. All in all it was an awesome day.
