Hi there, i am a green hand of fishing. i like river fishing very mch, but i don`t know what lure to use. Do i need to choose the specific lures to aim at some fish? If so, can you give me any ideas? i have minnows, rattles, topwater, but don`t know how and when to use them? Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks advance

My Darling,remember to use small lures when the big fish aren't biting.Have a small rod with 4to 6 lb line,and maybe the smallest rapalla with the two trebble hooks,or Rebel makes some small minnow lures. from 1" or 2.This way at least you catch the smaller fish the big ones are after,then use one for bait[sly] ,small suspenders also from rapala,and don't forget the jointed rapalas.

As Paulpro said use small lures when fishing is slow. Check these out. I guarentee that you will catch fish with them. They are too small for a double treble hooks, and you will miss a lot because of it, but they product more action than anything I carry im my box.

Amazingly I've cought more bass this year on them than my larger lures. Check out our "Small Lure" catagory at our store.

In my opinion, best rod for fishing is a lightweight, sensitive, 6- to 7-foot fiberglass rod with a medium action tip or a light action tip, depending on the weight of the lure.
