took a drive up to Palies today, no ice anywhere until you hit the Blowout boat ramp, very thin ice at that. Big Elk Creek had a couple of people fishing, but nothing was biting. Blowout is being plowed so you will be able to drive down to the water.[fishin] Merry Christmas to all.

It was 23 below this morning going over Gilmore Pass, I hope some of that cold reaches Palies and Ririe, bring on the hard water! I really like to fish Palies early in the season!
