Fished East Canyon, 7" ice, did best with pink tube with waxie and smelly jelly. 50' of water, most fish caught @20'. Sporratic bite. Caught 12 between two of us in about 4 hours.

Pineview-Tried the North side of Cemetary point. 3" - 2.75" of ice, clear and slick. Spooky but kinda fun to be the first out there. Marked and caught no fish. South side of the point had thicker ice and a light snow cap, not as spooky; kind of funny how covering the danger is much easier to take! Didn't fish the South side but did mark fish while checking the depth of the area we were at.

Where at on E C ? Is the whole lake capped now ? Thanks

The whole lake is capped, saw fisherman pretty much everywhere.

To day the best catching for us was around 1 p.m., from 10-12 it was pretty slow. Shrimp, minnows, waxies on pink or pink/white combo worked for us.

Bummer about the View not producing for ya. Maybe it was just "location, location, location?"

And, where the ice was a foot thick and clear at the Berry, it still was creepy! Good observation about the snow on top creating the illusion of safety!
