think i might take my two oldest kids to the dwr clinic at pelican on the 31 or 7 (haven't decided yet ) i know that the dwr will have some tackle but was wondering if anyone had advice one what i should bring with me to be more prepared also i have room in my highlander for 1 adult and 1 kid +gear if anyone wants to carpool i'm in heber

I do best on bluegill everywhere on ice jigs that provide a little wiggle. Look for small plastic baits of any kind like shrimpos, sluggo's, Nail-tail's, gizzy bugs, nuclear ants, tiny curlytails, etc...

I even buy tube jig bodies, cut most of the body off and leave 2 or 3 of the tentacles, and put them on a 1/64 oz jig head.

You can just catch them on jig heads with worms or waxies, too, or things like hali jigs.

The bluegills just seem to prefer that tiny shivery wiggle.

Then get a couple things to tip with, waxies and mealworms, grass shrimp........
