Went through some old posts to try and find the person who sharpens auger blades in SLC. Unable to find it. The blade exchange that I use has gotten almost as expensive as buying new ones. So !! is there some one in the area that sharpens blades ?????
Just called Lorenz cutlery , they are located at 213e and broadway
In slc ,they quoted me $4.00 per blade , they said they are about
A week turn around, hope that helps.

Is the Blade Sharpener you are speaking of specifically for auger blades? Do you remember about how much is cost you?"

I saw the sharpeners at Sportsmans earlier this week. It is a Strikemaster sharpener, and is specifically for auger blades. They were 7 or 8 bucks.

Will they sharpen the curved and notched blades of an Eskimo power auger?

I bought one of the auger sharpeners and the package said only Strikemaster and Jiffy blades. Sorry
The description given on Amazon says "This sharpener from Strike Master sharpens Lazer Mag, XL-3000, Cobra, Mag 2000, Mag 3000, Mag III, Mora Hand and Lazer Hand, Electra Lazer 12000DP, Ultra Mag, and Strike-Lite Ice Augers."
Also, from another site "Please note that this sharpener will not bring very dull or damaged blades back to life and is only meant to sharpen blades in good condition. Sharpener does not work with serrated or notched blades."
Looking around on the web, there are mixed reviews for this product. Most appear either think highly of it or hate it, not a lot of middle ground.
