My first skunk of the year. And it stunk bad. I took my fishing bike that I picked up last summer. I decked it out to sturgeon fish at Auger falls.

Well I got there but I didn't have the bike adjusted right. The seat was way too low and that made the peddling hard and it was tipped too far forward. Anyway,,, I got there and I had old bait. I was going to get new bait but my son didn't work today at the hatchery.
I fished for about 3 hours and gave up. It was DANG cold in the shade with the wind.
When I got back to the truck I saw that my old weather checked tires were about to blow. I stopped by wally world and picked up new ones. They cost 40 bucks! DANG I only paid 5 dollars for the bike!
Anyway I got everything fixed I hope. Next time I will go get new bait.
My first skunk of the year is done, in the can, nothing but net. No matter how I try to make it sound good it still sucked. I got several good comments on the bike though. Ron

Great score on the bike! The set up for your pole looks good. How do you have it attached so that they don't swing?

Great job Ron.... on the bike[Wink][fishin]

They really do rail us, on the bike tires! Better, buy you some Mr. tuffy's and slime now. Believe me a flat tire is just around the corner. It is funny how a inexpensive or free bike ends up costing us money. I like the sit up. I have one very similar on my scooter. I might dig it out if the weather stays like this.

Very nice. I mean the skunk not the bike. Wait a minture, reverse that - yeah!

Makes me think of Toadly and his Willard bay shoreline Wiper chases! Kewl beans man!

So - do you troll with that thing? Maybe some side-planer-boards?

Does it have a nice jingly bell to let folks know you are coming? Maybe a horn to make 'em jump!
I was impressed with easterners and their dock fishing cart setups. Takes all kinds I guess! The mudder of invention!

PS: I gave up on replacing tires and got my kids the solid rubber type. $20 a pop, but a one time fee! And with shocks these days, not like you have to rely on the air-filled tubes to handle bumps in the road (or trail).
Sure like your pole holders. I worry about the my bike tipping over and damaging the reels and rods. But mine is for Willard, You are most likley taking both your with you. ?
Not a bad investment only $45.00 so far. At Willard I had to get some heavy duty tubes with the Slim already in them. Sure beats walking home pushing my bike.
