Brent & i managed to get to the lake about 1:30. heaed to main river flats looking for ditches & depressions with some grass still left. Soon as we pulled to the 1st one, Brent gets a nice white bass. In a few more casts, he gets a crappie on the Red Eye shad. Two more casts, he gets a 3# LM. In the same area, I get a 3# LM & lose a larger fish, Moved to another similar area & got 6 more keeper LM & Brent caught a big 16" crappie. It gave a good account of itself even on casting gear! All fish caght on Red Eye Shads in 2-6". Temps were 47-49*
