Anyone know how the ice is doing at the view? I would like to head there thursday.

Was up there north of cemetery point and ice was.8 inches and edges were good hope this helps good luck fishing

Just got home from there about an hour ago, tried the afternoon-evening bit for some crappies. The perch were bitting good from 2-dark but no crappies, really had to work the perch to get them to bite.

Fished browning point, ice was four inches and fished 53 feet of water.[cool]

We were there on Sunday. Cemetary Point, south side. Ice was 7ish inches. Fishing was slow. didn't notice anyone near by doing very well either.

Ditto on the ice thickness at Cemetary point south side: 7-8". It is super slick. I slipped on Saturday and broke my leg[mad]. Be careful out there!

be careful getting on the north side of cemetery me and my dad went there and he busted through to his chest on the way off the ice and he ways a good 50 pounds less than me. be carefl

coming down from the mountains saturday we saw 1 green tent about 100 yards from the ice edge in the narrows, then on sunday the same green tent was in the narrows along with another smaller one to the north of it.. both in the narrows, bit within the same area i guess they were catching fish?

I hate do argue but i think you need to double check on your ice thickness for the north side! its no 8 inches!! maybe 3 and slicker then snot.... And the edges where all open water. Had to walk a ways to find a spot to get on. Not sure what the south side is but i fished the north and wont go back for a good while to the north side of cemetery. Be careful there is a lot more to live for than a couple small perch.
