Tip #3 has been uploaded along with the intro to a series I have began to work on designed to help people get started into ice fishing.

I'll post a link to tip #3 here. If you want to see the intro, you'll need to do a youtube search for Hunter's Outdoors.

I really appreciate those who've provided feedback.
Thanks.

I have observed the same thing with tube jigs. If they not horizontal while one is fishing vertically they are not nearly as effective in getting bites.

Couple graphics that demonstrate exactly what you're talking about. (found these on the Jawjacker site - credit where it's due)
Good tip - interested to hear you've both noticed a difference in fishy-response.

Great videoes so far. They definitely would have been really helpful for me when I first started ice fishing. I have heard the same thing about the jigs before to, but I dont know the reason it works so much better either. Ill have to try it today. Yesterday I could get them to pretty much bump it but they wouldnt commit (I was watching them all on the camera). Thanks.
