Three of us went to Currant Creek yesterday. Got on the lake near the campground at around 8:00. Fished the east side of the lake for about an hour, lots on the finder but only one 8 inch rainbow. Moved to a new location and game on! Tigers, Rainbows and Cutt's all nice fish about 16" and fat. Just as we were getting ready My friend tied into a nice Cutt. He fought it for a bit and finally landed it. It measured 21 inches and went 3.8 pounds. A very nice fish for Currant Creek in MHO. Ice thickness varied from 10" to 14". We rode snow mobiles on what little snow was on the ice with no problems. Road is good with some spots of VERY slick ice. Made it with 4 WD.

Damn dude...nice work. I was trying to convince my buddy that CC is a great placec to fish...but some people are hard to convince. I love that place...always good fishing up there. Thanks for your post.

CC Has always been good to me through the ice. Never fished the open water there. In past years had days of 70-80 fish per guy ,and other days of barely a limit. Always a long trip but always worth it.
