Has anyone caught or heard of anyone catching a tagged fish at Rockport? and what kind of prizes are involved? [fishin]

I would call RafterB to see about any tagged fish being caught.
As of last week there had not been any brought in, but I have heard rumors of a couple being caught since. Just rumors though I don't for sure.

I heard rumers a couple had been caught before, but that has since been dispelled by the sponser. So the $2,500 prize fish is still out there swimming around, waiting to be caught. I can only hope that some 6 yr old girl reels it in on her Barbie pole she got for Christmas.

25 were tagged but I heard they will put a few more in there before the ice party on the 4th of Feb.

A friend of mine was up there today with his scouts. He said it was as packed as he has ever seen it. Sounds like it is getting hit pretty hard.

We were up on sun1-8-12 place was packed by 7.30. We didnt get far enough away from the crowd didnt do to well had fun beatuiful day.Stopped at the store guy said no tagged fish had been brought in but one guy had a fish with a hole in it dorsel fin. I guess he lost the tag or didnt know what it was. Told us there was 25 fish released with tags and they were going to release some more. Great to see the excitement!!
