hit pineview sunday morning at brownings point straight out from the access point about 300 yards fishing was slow we moved about three times till we got some active perch we caught em all in 45 feet to 25 feet deep all on my new live forage minnow spoon that treated me very well. fished till about 1200 when the wind really picked up and i watched one tent go tumbling across the laek about a hundred yards[thats what anchors are for} and some othere people having a hard time putting up there tent or taking it down right behind me. we ended up with 17 8-10 inch perch and 2 crappie that were around 9 inches. the funniest part of the trip was my dad had his head out the door of the tent talking to me and he kept asking me what all that splashing noise is out there and i said not me, and next thing i hear is my dad saying holy $%#@ theres a crappie swimming in my hole and i ran over to see and sure enough a crappie swam up his hole and was flopping on top of the water, never had that happen before. so the fishing had slowed down about a half hour before we left and i got bored so i started jigging my spoon by hand while looking down my hole about 10 feet and i had muskies that were curious of my spoon but not willin to hit it. they would come through very submarine like and and cruise by about a foot away from my bait, thought that was pretty cool to see one in my hole since ive never personally caught one, maybe thats why the crappie swam up my dads hole, it didnt want to be musky food. thanks guys
