Fished the warm springs drop off area today for a couple of hours until a big storm blew me off the lake. Only managed 2 catfish. The water keeps getting lower each week. I had to walk the boat out of the marina to the jetty to run today. There was much less prressure today from the shore. ( Bob you might be keeping them honest)Only about 6 people. I was trying a new 6" swimming jig for walleye. All this summer IN-fisherman has been writing about the success of fishing with this bait. This month's edition has an article from Doug Strange saying he oufishes others with this bait. I have used them in the ocean for calico bass, but not this size in fresh water. Anyone used them with success?

Hey Peacador, the first thing I'm going to ask is, did you catch those catfish on the jigs ? I'm thnking the swim bait
is like the sassy shad. if thats them I've caught lots of walleye on the 4 and 5 in. at deer creek and utah. also did you see any other walleye caught ?? thanks later chcuk

Yes I did. No walleye caught by any anglers I talked to or saw fishing.
