Does anyone know what the tags stand for?

Yea, there are a bunch of prizes, $8,000 in total prizes. If you have one of the tagged fish you need to let them know, could be a big prize[].

Who wants to bet on how many tagged fish get caught by the deadline? I'm guessing ZERO! Can you say scam? I would way rather fish a tournament where there is a deffinate winner such as biggest fish. Those venders in Wanship are racking it in and they will still have their cache sitting in inventory come deadline.

They aren't forcing you to fish Rockport. Although the odds are low they are substantially higher than they are at all of the other reservoirs that don't have any tagged fish.

Those Evil-doers are up to it again!! Imagine, putting fish in the water with tags on them,offering prizes. Getting you to go fishing, possibly spend time to yourself, with your friends or even worse your Family. All the while boosting the local economy with some tourism dollars. Next thing you know they may ask you to come back and boat in the summer or just . better burry the fishing poles in the back yard and this conspiricy next to your guns in the back yard. or just go have a great time fishing.

Great point. In fact, I love this contest. I wonder how much pressure it has taken off other reservoirs?

There are MANY more reports on here from Rockport than there were last year.

They should have one every year.

No doubt! I guess it's just kind of like gambling with a 1 in a million chance of winning but I am also glad people will be drawn to Rockport and it's sub-par fishing and keep folks away from the better water. Now if we can get them to put another batch in for the summer?!
