Anyone know how thick the ice is at deer creek?

I was up there yesterday, on the south end and the ice is non existent. The last time I saw northern Deer Creek, which was this last Wednesday, the ice had all been broken up by strong winds.

Watched a guy putting in his boat this morning

Looks like he is still there. I wanted to go up but the wet roads make a mess of the boat, black road junk. It looks like charelston may have ice but I dought it would be safe.

Tiny patches between the island and the beach and a few in Charelston on Friday. I hoped it would freeze up this year. Now I have given up hope.

Yeah and I bet your loving it huh? Just promise me you are not ice breaking with that boat of yours! I had hopes for Rock Cliff arm in the beginning of the year. Now I don't think it will happen.

Well the Ice between the Island isn't looking good either. A Deer tried to cross is and fell through. Looks like it put up a fight to get out, made a 20ft trail through the ice but didn't make it out. Glad I didn't see it happen. Feel bad for it. Just remember that could be you, so be safe out there!
