This is one of those bits of lore I never got a handle on. Do fish bite best before a storm?
I'm dying to get out, but I need to be back by afternoon on Mon, so the drive can't be long.
I'm afraid I'll get ambushed by the storm Mon morning. This will kill travel speeds, and if the storm DOES put them down, we'll get skunked anyway. I can tough it out fishing in the snow, no kids, etc..
So, if fish bite better before a storm, I'll go tonight to PV for crappie or somewhere for trout.
If it doesn't matter, I'll go close to home in the morning.
And it'll be nice to know.
