Ventured out to rockport today with the false hope of pulling out a tagged fish. My son, brother, and myself went out and got a surprising 16 fish and lost 2 just before the ice. They ranged in size from 10" - 15".

Had both my fingers and toes crossed every time they surfaced but nothing. Left them all in there for you all to catch. Good luck.

Ice was 10" but my brother fell through on the edge of the lake up to his knee. Edges soft but everything else solid.

Nice to know there are fish left, and biting at that, too....

good report. I went out saturday with a bunch of guys that had never iced fished before and got skunked. i had a few bites, nothing solid though. didn't have a tent so the rain and snow pushed us out. wasn't worth catching pneumonia and not fish. what were you mostly using? and bout where were you fishing...

Ratfinkee tipped with a wax worm. 15 feet down. East side. We had our tent today. Tons of people with a lot of mixed reviews. There were a few ATVs jamming around also. Plus I heard some people got wet over by the docks.
