How's the ice looking out at LB and/or benjamin slough, etc? I heard the wind has been doing her thing, the north end is all open from what i've seen.

When the freeway got jacked up yesterday, I diverted to the back roads to get to work. AF harbor has ice, but everything outside the harbor is open. Lindon Harbor is mostly open, the lake south to Provo Harbor is open. Not much ice along the edges either. There were a couple of guys fishing off the docks at AF and two out on the ice, but it looks real iffy. There were two rigs with empty trailers parked out on the end of the breakwater at AF, so my assumption is that they had been launching out there. For all intents and purposes, Utah lake is open and will remain that way till next winter. You can launch a small boat, tube, or toon, so go have fun !!!!
We were there at LB yesterday. Ice is still good between the dikes, everywhere else is open water accept just south of the south dike for a ways and around the edges on the very south end near Benjemin Slough out maybe 50ft or so. On even farther south it is the same, all open in the middle and a few bays and canals with ice out a little ways.
