A friend and I are heading out Saturday to fish again. Anyone know of bodies of water that are not TOO far from Hill AFB area that has safe ice and not too much slush?

Mantua is holding up pretty good - even if the fishn is slow, and sounds like Hyrum's edges were good enough for some snowmobilers.
I may still give Newton a try Sat - just have to bring the snorkel and wetsuit for the journey out to the ice!
Hyrum is pretty likely for a Sunday outing. Supposed to cool down Friday - lets hope!
