Too nice of a day yesterday not to try for some crappie. Stayed back here in the creek and walked down to a neighbors to see if any crappie where hiding under his dock, no luck. Came back to the house and decide to try a spot I could only reach in my kayak, it was the right choice at the right time. Only in about 4-7 fow 1/32 jig with my trademark color electric chicken, couple of small ones fired up a few bigger fish for about 45 minutes and then is was all over and DK pets took overemoBang, I do not care to admit how many of DK pets found my electric chicken attractive, lets just say it was one too many emoBig . Best part of the day out fishing was coming upon some sandhill cranes, it was a breathtaking site! emoSmile
