I haven't been for a couple weeks and would just like to know if either deep creek or twin is still frozen enough around the edges to get on the ice. Thanks in advance for any info.

A couple days ago some one mentiond in another post about twinn lakes being ok around the edges.

I went to twin on wednesday and deep creek on friday, plenty of ice and safe edges on both. Panfish are biting at twin, but trout fishing has slowed way down. Deep creek was ok fishing, mostly 12 inchers with the occasional 16 to 18 incher.

What pan fish were you catching? Any size to them?

I didn't actually fish for them myself, I just witnessed people catchinh quite a few perch bluegill, bass and perch. Perch and bluegill were pretty small.

Edges on twin were fine on saturday. Not much being caught that I saw. Just a few small perch and trout. There were lots of people out, so they need to report also. It would help!

I agree more people need to report. You can go out and see several people fishing and when you get home and open your forum of choice, sometimes more than one, there are no or little posts of fishing in the area.

Everyone needs to spread the word and encourage other anglers to share their experiences and fishing wisdom.
