Rockport - So we hit the RC party at 9am. Met up with Wygoob and got some unique lures. I tried them out but the fish kept spitting and refused to swallow the hook.[] My twin got 1 rainbow and lot one at the hole. BFT Aquaman got 1 rainbow. The pepper glow jigs with a nightcrawler was the ticket. We fished in 65 ft of water only 5 to 10 feet down (thanks ton def) Oh yeah and it was nice to win the raffle too. [] We left at 4pm.

Little Dell - Decided to just look at LD and see where it was at. Then I saw ice on 90% of the lake! Well the gear was in the car so we ran down to the dam area around 5pm and fished till a bit past dark. There was 8 inches of ice and it was a bit cloudy but super SLICK. I caught 1 cutt and lost another at the hole. My twin lost one at the hole and everyone got a few more bites. We fished at 16 feet and 26 feet with 26 producing the action. The moon helped the hike out as we forgot the headlamps.

You guys didn't make it over to the BFT table? I did catch yer-spikes across the crowd at the raffle, and after they called out several folks with "almost" my name - did see one of ya hooked up with a prize. Some happy kids, and some giddy schoolgals (the sled award was purdy entertaining! I'd say she was full up spirit(s)!)

At least you got bites. I think I spyed a few passers on the finder, but spent a LOT of time NOT watching my rods (that what the Jacker's all about!!!). But we had a good time, nice meeting folks.

Looks like Little Dell was looking real purdy too.
I think with all the sleds and wheeler and power-augers- and tents full or hotdogs - the fish had the good sense to move to quieter offerings!
