I fished Robert's Pond today with FishingRookie and StikRig. Like usual, it was fast action all day. In the end we ended up with over 250 perch and a trout. I caught the best perch I've seen out of Robert's, pushing a whopping 7". It was noticeably bigger than the rest of them. I also made a little video of my underwater and all the perch going crazy. Just click the link and it should take you to the video.

Appreciate you sharing the video. That place is obviously loaded with smaller Perch. Sure wish something could be done with it so the Perch were not all cookie cutter Perch. Still a fun day to be out on the ice!

I loved the video. Watching them take that jig was a lot of fun. What kind of camera did you get?

Thanks. Ive got a Marcum vs380. Its been a really helpful tool and has increased my catch rate significantly, especially perch fishing. Its crazy how many fish will just pick up your jig and not move at all and you would never even know it happened. My favorite thing about it is watching big fish come in out of no where and slam the jig.

That is a fun video. Maybe I'll take my kids there on Sat.

Whats the ice conditions up there? I may be bringing my 3 year old for a fun trip.

The ice is around a foot and has a some snow on it to so it's not too slick. Good luck if you go.
