so might be going up there this weekend and was wondering what the conditions were like. if the fish were biting, if you could even get to the dam. would like to launch a boat if there is open water or hit the ice if there is any, but just wondering thanks a bunch.

Sounds like it's still ice-fishing season there. Recent Post.
If I'm hearing what I'm hearing - I'd say they did pretty good - if they limited out. And a 14 inch koke from the pig -that a bign - even if it was skinny. Plus a nice hybrid trout. No pix of the coke, and hard to tell from the description how the ice really was.
I definitely gotta get up there and do some trolling come open water. If you guys are gonna go - gimme a shout, maybe I can ride-tandem. I didn't bust out my rigger ONCE last year.... Sad
The ice was 8-9" and completely capped. Edges were fine. The reservoir seemed to be 20-30' higher than usual during ice season.

2 of us fished from 7:30 to 4:00 and one of us fished from 12:30 to 4:30. We caught 6-7 kokanee total. Tried 3 different spots, and only produced at our usual.

Oh and my cousin came and fished for an hour or two and didn't catch anything. He tried 2 different spots.
