A buddy and I went to scofield for a few hours this morning. Had the entire lake to ourselves. The weather was awesome, no wind not even a breeze. We were fishing for almost 2 hours in short sleeves.
Ice is 26+ inches thick. With about 10 inches of snow on top and no slush.
As for the fishing. It was spotty when a school would come through they were willing to hit but the schools were few and far between. We were using a variety of jigs tipped with meal worms or minnow even a few with power nuggets. Biggest was a pair of 17 inch cuts most though were 15 inches. Caught 16 total between the two of us.
