Stickrig and I decided to do some urban fishing in IF yesterday and ended up at buffalo wild wings for an early lunch! It was windy and cold on the river and we didn't get a bite after 2 hours on the river.

After lunch we were headed over to check out Ryder Park because we have never been there. As we were pulling up we ran into FlyFishingFool and we all hit the hard deck for about 30 min.

We managed to land about a dozen trout between the 3 of us. A good mix of banana and bows. Fun little park to fish but look out for all the creepers who stop by the park on a regular basis and just stare at you!

My family lives just down Pioneer rd from Ryder park, but I moved to Boise before it opened so I've only fished it twice. I think I will try to fish Roberts while I'm here this weekend, but if there is time I'll stop off at Ryder again. Good to hear it still has fish and they are biting in the afternoon (I'm not always so good at mornings).

We were catching them on just about anything...as long as it had a meal worm on it. The water is crystal clear and you can stare down the hole and watch the fish take the bait 20 feet down.

We also saw a lot of dead fish and "zombie" fish that were laying belly up on the bottom.

Ahh the zombie fish. That was kinda odd.
