Went to the Jordan River tonight from 5:15pm to 10pm without my twin. Fishing was great when I figured out where to cast as the water level went up again. I caught 2 utah suckers and 9 black bullhead catfish! By 8pm BFT's Loanfish saw my car on his way back from Sportsmans and he knew where I'd be fishing!

He chatted with me trying to convince me to pack up and hit little dell right that second. After witnessing me pulling in another sucker and a few cats he and his daughter scrambled to go get their gear at home and join me. Being the stubburn type they refused to cast in my spot. I couldn't convince them to do it. Loanfish got 1 mud cat and his daughter got skunked.

We were using nightcrawlers on size #4 hooks and a 1/2oz egg weight 6 inches above it. I lost a few fish on the reel in and had TONS of bites that I falied to hook up.

That is awesome! I really need to hit the river soon. I live so close to it here in rose park. Gotta flip out a worm and see what I can get. Don't think I have ever caught a sucker before, so that would be cool. The woman and I absolutely LOVE catfish. So some bullhead would be very nice. Smile

We might need to hook up someday and fish with you twins. Seems like you guys go out to have a good time. I like that. My woman and myself always wonder why there is so much trash talking to you two. Maybe they are jealous that you guys get out so much? Maybe they are C&R only folk? Not really sure to be honest, oh well. Everyone has their opinions that they are entitled to them.

Anyways that's sweet dude. This coming up Tuesday or Wednesday I think I will hit up the Jordan and see what I can't pull out of there.

Hell I guess we are just not your typical fisherman. The sport of fishing has many different types of views. I tend to have a "hunters attitude" as I hook em and cook em. To me a fish is just that......a fish nothing more and nothing less.

What can I say, that is how I was introduced to fishing as a kid. Literally "reel the fish up, gut it with a swift up motion on the knife, pull down the guts, toss to the side, and get your gear back down the ice hole. All in 30 seconds!" Andy was the man IMHO!

We have personally fished with 25 plus members and only one felt like never fishing with us again. So we would love to fish with you and your woman, or anyone on these forums for that matter. Let me know when and where ya want to fish and we will hook up!

Sending you a PM to narrow your search of the Jordan River.
