I thought this year would be an improvement on last year....NOT!!!!!! I am getting very good at catching bass at the G when it does not matter. emoRolleyes Considering last weekend I had 12/10 with my best three we went there to start up river. I knew those big fish were there and in hind sight we should have gone back to Roseberry. It was no time at all CCSM hooks up with one..a crappie comes in the boat on a swim. Then one nails my trap and a white comes in the boat. I made the comment, "well we got a crappie and a white...I guess the next one needs to be a cat." About twenty minutes later and boom! Fish on, get the net....up comes a very nice CATFISH!!!!! emoBang All CCSM said was, "Well, you called that one." That was how our day went. We finally did start hooking bass but they were small ones, hooked nine bass with two keepers, two more crappie, a shad and a bream. emoAngry With about an hour to go I lost one that was a good 2.5 to 3 lbs by the boat which would of at least given us our limit but it was not to be. emoScratch Seventeen fish came into our boat with only two keeper bass??? We stunk up the results and came in somewhere around 28th. I hope that becomes a drop. emoMad Jmax
