Poured rain with high winds Wednesday in the Ogden Valley. Per intel reports from co-workers who live in that neck of da-woods lots of fields with standing water in Eden and Liberty with the various arms of the rivers feeding Pineview running pretty good.

So took a couple hours leave from work yesterday and drove up putting eyes on target.

So with this hard deck season having an unsual bite for pan fish we still had fun. We bid it farewell as we've hung up the short rods. Long rods are out and boat is coming out of its winter hibernation slumber HUNGRY for some action on the soft water

Pics I took yesterday roughly 3PM...be careful prediction is shorelines will be very tender will need planks in various areas. Note one pic of narrows anglers two had a plank and i'll tell you it's steep and deep water there even with planks. Please be very careful, don't go alone, be prepared and wear ice cleats...no snow now on PV and it will be very slick. [Smile][Smile]

wow... those folks on the ice are braver than me. That plank looks barely long enough to reach, I hope the ice didn't shift away from the shore for them. I love the hard deck fishing but not that much.[shocked]
