Yep i was one of them boats. Water temp at launch 7:30 was 38.2 deg fished until 2pm water temp was 39.6 deg. fishing was great but catching was slow

Man - that is like THIS close (fingers held "Get Smart" tight"!) to being 40 degrees! Sounds like we must be getting into the threshold that would beckon prespawn fish???

Yes willard is all ice free. 1 to 2 more weeks and its game on
