<br />Feb 22, 2012, Tim’s Ford Fishing Reports – Jacob McKissack from Murfreesboro TN and Trey Nunley from Southern Pursuit Outdoors, joined me for a day on the lake in pursuit of some big brown fish. We launched at the State Park and fished the lower portion of the lake. The bite was slow for the first hour, after that we caught fish all day; the best fish, a 19.5 inch 4.15 pound smallmouth came on half ounce Tightline Football Jig’s (Guntersville Special with green pumpkin trailer). Although a 3/16 ounce Spot Removers produced the most fish. We found them from 1-15 FOW. Water temps started out at 49.5 and climbed to 51.5 degrees. Don’t miss out on some great early spring smallmouth action on Tim’s Ford. I have days available, make your reservations now for some great early spring action on Guntersville, Nickajack and Tim’s Ford.
