can anyone give me a link to bft rules. I would like to read up on having a link to a blog like I have at the bottom of my posts, whats allowed and what isnt is what I am trying to find out. It was brought to my attention that mine isnt allowed and I dont see how when there are TONS of others that are the same. I have absolutely no advertising or gain, so I dont get whats wrong with it.
I am not trying to cause an argument, just don't want to do anything I shouldnt.

I am not a moderator so I am not answering for the other moderators.
The only rule that I know of is that BFT doesn't like links to competing forums. I don't see how a blog is a competes with the forum. It is really up to the moderators to clarify, but I don't see anything wrong with blogs if the person participates in the discussion and doesn't try to take viewers away from BFT.
Just my two cents

If it isn't advertising for fishing products or other fishing sites and is just a blog you produce and write about fishing in general you can do that.

I checked out your site and you should be able to have that in your signature. nothing there but you fishing and posting images and stories.
who told you that you can't do that?

you catch a lot of nice trout! you should come to northern Arkansas and catch some of our trophy trout and wallys...
we have some of the best walleye fishing in northern America.

And it only applies to the fishing thread, not to the hunting or other threads on BFT!!!!!!! Read the rules CJ.

copy and paste right from the forum rules and guidelines:
Quote:You may list your web address that does not violate any previously listed forum guidelines but it must not be a "clickable" link and it can only contain up to 1 web address.

And it did and followed the guidance I was sent by CJ in a PM. So now what do you suggest?

To deal with it via pm instead pissing n moaning in threads.

That was my point on the other thread. It's private property and they can do as they wish. I'm surprised they allow grumbling outside of pm's. I wouldn't.
