The ice season is over on these waters. McTucker is completely open, Sportsman's Park has a little ice, but nothing you can get on or that is safe. The little permanent shack out there is history as it is sitting on the last little bit of ice there is with no way of retrieval. Here comes spring.

I love McTucker. I don't suppose you checked the water clarity? It was awsome to watch fish swimming near the bottom two years ago, then last years flooding stirred everything up.
Might have to check that out when I head to IF from Boise in a few weeks.

Water clarity on the ponds was surprisingly clear compared to the usuall spring brown color. The creek was not very clear tho and the reservoir is just about backed up into the creek. The river at the boat dock is all ready backing up.

Pretty sure the shanty will become firewood along with the wooden sled. Not sure about the propane bottle if it will float or sink.

went on monday the lakes and creek were all clear. there was still a bit of ice on a few of the ponds but this infernal wind we've been havign will have that off in no time i did not see a shack out there anywhere it has either droped through or been picked up
