I just joined today and wanted to say hi to my fellow treasure valley fishermen.
The only recent report I have is for cascade -ice was about 20" with lots of layers. Perach are hitting 4 of us got about 30 10-14" fish in two days.

Oh yes Ron I will fish for anything that will bite and try to arrow the fish that won't.
My current favorite fish is typical (bass) I'm usually in a few tournaments a year. I fish with my wife mostly she has won a few womens tourneys nothing big but we have fun.
When I fish for Food which is most of the time I target crappie, perch, and cats. When I just want to have fun I bow fish for carp.

How big are those perch you're holding? The one to the picture's left looks particularly large. I didn't know they got that big. Do you cook 'em up like crappie?

Yes I cook them like any other panfish.
