Learn How to Catch Utah Walleyes at Free RMA/DWR Seminar
Many Utah walleye anglers think that the best time to fish for walleyes is during the spring spawn. In reality, the best walleye fishing doesn't start until after the spawn, and good walleye fishing can be found through the summer and fall. It's time to start making plans to head for Deer Creek, Lake Powell, Starvation, Yuba and Utah Lake for some great walleye fishing this year!
On Tuesday, March 20, 2012, a panel of top Utah walleye anglers will tell how they do it at the 20th Annual Rocky Mountain Anglers/Utah Division of Wildlife Resources Utah Walleye Seminar in Salt Lake City. All panel members have extensive experience with walleye fishing in Utah and surrounding states. Learn about the best times of year and where to go. Includes information about hot lures and techniques including trolling, spinner rigs, jigs, crankbaits and live baits.
DWR representatives will be on hand to provide the latest information on our walleye fisheries, and a free drawing will include several free walleye fishing trips with members of Rocky Mountain Anglers.
Date and time:
Tuesday, March 20, 2012, 7 p.m.
Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, 1594 West, North Temple, Salt Lake City
