I just signed up for a couple workshops with the Wasatch Fly Tying and Fly Fishing Expo. These are such a sweet deal for great instruction. As usual there is a great line up of great classes that are inexpensive or free.

I am doing the Yellowstone Fly Patterns with Craig Matthews class and the South Slope of the Uintah's class. I am really looking forward to learning and getting ready for a great summer of fly fishing.

Check out the schedule on the Wasatch Expo website, sign ups are open and a lot of these classes sell out: http://www.wasatchexpo.com/workshops.html

Wish I could be a fly on your shoulder. [:/][:/]

Even better.... I wish that they filmed these and sold the DVDs!

That would be really cool. A DVD with all the workshops on it.

I took the Provo River class a couple of years ago and it was great. Last year I took a casting class and got rid of a couple bad habits..... I learned a lot from both class. It definitely is a great value and the money spent goes the conservation programs. If you can't make it this year, there is always next year[Smile]

Thanks for the head's up. I've been checking the schedule but couldn't register until this morning.

Signed up my wife and daughter for the womens' casting class; I signed up for casting with Mickey Anderson; and then the class on advanced stillwater techniques. I would like to take classes from Nate and others, but can't fit them in.

Wish Flygoddess was teaching something - she has sure taught me a lot on this forum.

Great idea to film some of them. I'd pay money for a video of the ones I couldn't attend.

Look for me at the show. Don't think I will tie at this one, but love to meet you.

I did the Provo River class last year, and it was solid. I almost feel dirty reading these forums now that Utah Lake and Bass fishing has pretty much swallowed me. I... /gasp... am about to buy a baitcasting rod/reel.

Forgive me.

Looks like TubeDude can add another notch to his Utah Lake fishing gun.

Seriously, my wife is so Anti-TubeDude right now, and she's never met the guy.

The deadline to sign up online for workshops is tonight at midnight. If you are thinking about coming go to http://wasatchexpo.com/workshopreservations.htm and sign up.

You can also sign up at the registration table the day of the event, but it looks like a lot of these workshops have sold out already. Get in a class while you still can!
