I had a checkup this AM and afterward decided to go fishing at the Riverpark and see if I could get into some bass. I did. But first, caught a small white bass, then an 11' 8" Drum (one of my pets) before getting into some keeper spots. I also landed a nice 3 lb 3 oz smallmouth bass. It was released. I kept 4 spots, 2 white bass, including a whopper 2 lb female white bass on one of my favorite spots at the Riverpark. I also caught a keeper male white bass in the same area. It looks like they may be in love. I did have the biggest spot jump off on the first jump. It was easily over 2 lbs, but the big ones always get away.

I caught my fish on a 4" swimming super fluke Jr in the Disco Green color with a 1/4 oz shadhead jig that I powder painted charteruse. I also dipped the tail in spike-it. I caught the Drum on a 5" swim bait that was a brown color, but I don't know what kind of swim bait it is. Academy was closing them out a couple of years ago and I bought about 2 packs of the 4" and a couple of the 5". This is the first time that I have fished them.

I front ended myself all afternoon and never did complain. Oh yeah! I caught several rocks, but only lost one jig. I'm probably going crappie fishing in the morning unless I change my mind and hit the Riverpark again.
