We usually camp at flamming gorge or Lake Powell but thought we would try Strawberry this summer. Any advice on campsites that are out of the wind and big enough for a group of people?

We like the small camp area on the Soldier Creek side. It has some great sites that could hold smaller groups and some nice shade trees. If you need a larger group site, you will want to look at the loops closer to the Strawberry Bay Marina. Lots of room there, but no trees and more open to the wind.

Only ever camped at the soldier creek campgrounds. There are shady spots and the facility is nice. Cant beat early morning fishing at the berry. One of my favorites.
