hey guys we are headed up to the berry tuesday morning, never fished there,dont know where to go..other than passed heber,,,any help would be great...and also what is the regs on the slot limit...we have been fishing the rock do we need anything different...taking the grand daughter so some fish would be nice...

As far as just catching some fish, I've done well over on the soldier creek side this year, but most the fish are rainbow in the 12" to 15" range with an occasional larger cutthroat. I'd just park right where the dam turnoff is and hike to the north side of the bay where there's been less pressure, off one of the points in 15' of water. There are lots of other options on other parts of the lake as well, don't know about the conditions of the ice edges other than someone reported some rotten ice near ladders the other day.

I would recommend going to soldier.creek as well. I like to use white.tube jigs tipped with a meal worm. just try.different depths til you find them. I like to stay about 20_25.feet deep. and fish
around 15. how it helps! good luck

we ended up at the marina...four caught many missed using small tube jigs tiped w/worms and pink power nuggets... 20'' of ice and 6'' of slush..not bad for a first trip..might try again on friday...
