That sounds bad since its getting toward the end of march, but i guess that's just the way it is when work and school fill the rest of your schedule.
I finished up at school today earlier than expected so I stopped by roundrocks and asked what the Logan river trout are eating. Roundrocks sent me out the door with a couple small (size20) nymphs, BWO's and midges. And one free fly that I got to pick out of the tray on the counter. i went with a size 16 hares ear.
I hopped on over to the river trail by the golf course as its quite close to my apartment.
Lots of bugs on the surface, some fish rising, so i spent a good portion of my time flinging BWO's. It wasn't until I switched to nymphs that I got some action. I missed a few since I was still remembering how to work my fairy wand. I did finally manage to hook up though. On the hares ear I picked out of the free fly tray[laugh]
Nice little Logan river brown.
It was a nice little break from school and work. Only six more weeks and I can do this more often.
