I've started planning my fishing destinations for the summer. I have a 2 week swing in early September to travel and fish. I'm looking for advice on where to have a really good shot at some BIG smallies. Willing to travel to Washington, Oregon, anywhere in Idaho, or Utah.

So any suggestions? Oh yea, a BIG smallie to me is 5+.

dworshak for sure. have heard for 3 years in a row from july to october that they catch 5s 6s and even a couple 7s. my biggest are 4.5 and 4.6. yet to break the 5 yet.

Big fish on the Columbia but you can also get some high winds and big water.
