Hit the water around 7am this morning. Went up river a ways to check some spots and glad I did. Started off throwing the tenn rig in some real shallow water where I had caught them few days ago. No bites at all in the shallow water with any bait I tried. Seems the water had dropped little over a foot since yesterday so they moved back out some. I moved out to the creek channel that leads into this spawning flat. Second cast landed a 6lb 7oz lm on the tenn rig. Few casts later another one over 6lb took the rig. I'm just standing there wondering why this rarely happens in tournaments for me. I then hung up my tenn rig in about four foot of water and I could feel the bottom with my rod but couldn't get it back so I had to break off. I could feel the lure with my pole but I'm not gonna poke the rod around on the bottom and break it for a locally made tenn rig. I then tied another one on and same thing happens again lol. I just broke it off also and picked up my lipless crankbait rod. It was getting around 10am by now so I moved back up in the shallows and fished it again. Got four more really nice bass at this spot in about 2 foot of water. Never actually saw any bedding bass but they were moving around in there. Moved back out to the creek channel and tried my c-rig and caught few more decent ones. Headed back towards the ramp and fished couple spots on the way. Ended up with a five fish limit of 23lbs and 3oz.

Really nice day out and saw few cffer's at the ramp when I was leaving. I usually always take pics but since I got my big humminbird I took the memory card out of my digital camera to put in the humminbird and haven't stopped by walmart or best buy to get a new one for my camera even though I live not even a mile from either. On the way home I was like dang, I had my phone which I always forget I can take pictures with. Oh well.
