I've heard Foster looks all opened up, and was told Twin was clear too. Curious to know how the other Preston lakes are doing as far as "ice be gone".
Wouldn't mind getting some time on Glendale before the party boats start ramping up!
And - can I get a muscle sticker from the check station by La Tienda? Or do I need to go somewhere else for that? I know I can get it online - but that takes time - in case this weekend draws me north...
Thanks
I drove by Winder, but didn't fish it. It was completely open.

Went to twin lakes today and it as 100% ice free.also looked at a few other spots all ice free. I'm pretty sure all the Preston area lakes are open. Except maybe Lamont. As it had probly the most ice in the area on it. But I'm sure its opening up and maybe open. Its a warm area around Preston.

Has anyone actually fished Twin or Glendale?

I fished the channel on twin today. And had no luck but it was blowing something fierce and the water was white capping. So my report wouldn't be much good. There was a boat out when I was there today it was over in a cove in the south side. And there didn't move much at all in the 3 hours I was there. Also some people fishing the dam on the north side. Or is it the east and west side?? I get turned around out there..

deeep creek still has most of its ice on it. infront of the dam is open about 15 feet out and there is a huge crack down the middle and edges all have about 10 feet open but for the most part it is still compleatly iced over
