I don't believe they are in production anymore so could be hard to get any kind of warranty, parts, software updates etc...

thanks for the reply.. Do you think they are good enough to purchase a new transducer @ $65-$75 ? I bought a fishing boat and it has this finder on it but the transducer was ripped off. This item is easy to find but I really wonder if I want to put that much money @ risk and not have a decent finder...

[cool][#0000ff]I bought and used one for some time on my float tube. Very unhappy with performance. Small screen and unreliable readings. Known for showing false fish signals. When my screen was showing fish I could look down into the clear water and see nothing between my tube and the bottom. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Very low power and poor accuracy. As already mentioned, they are no longer in production (thankfully) and you can find used ones complete for less than $50.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]You would do much better to buy a Humminbird or Lowrance sonar. You can get some good ones for less than $200. But if you want all the bells and whistles you can spend a lot more too.[/#0000ff]
