Just wanted to share some things I found using Mozilla's Firefox (FF) browser vs Internet Explorer (IE) on BFT. Don't know the appropriate forum but good info I think.

First, the red squiggles appear as you type when a word is misspelled which doesn't happen using IE.

Second, you can download an ap from http://www.abine.com called Do Not Track Plus that will block the ads on the side of the screen that at times can be inappropriate depending on one's judgement.

Third, by clicking on tools, options, use custom settings for history, and un-checking the box that says accept cookies third-party cookies, other websites are not able to track and profile you for ads etc. I know those ads pay for the site; but if I can opt out why not?

Lastly, Live Lake View seems to work much smoother and faster with FF.

Food for thought for those wanting to improve their browsing and viewing experience on BFT.

I use Google Chrome as my default browser, but when making a fishing report post with imbed pictures I have to use IE. For some reason all the posting attachment options don't show up with Chrome as they do with IE.

Check out CoolNovo (formerly called Chrome Plus). It is based off the source code for Chrome, but Chrome is open source, they were able to expand on it. It still works with all of Chrome's extensions, does auto spell check, but it also allows for gesture control, highlight a word or phrase and drag it anywhere and it does a Google search, etc. It also has a button in the address bar that switches the browsed to IE mode. Basically if you stumble upon something that does not work properly, you click that and it seamlessly starts a virtual I.E. session within the browser. The only difference you see is that things are working the way you expect. I only have to use that once in a great while, but it is great when I need it!
Do you know if coolnovo has an app to be used on the ipad?

I don't think so. I am pretty sure they only do the desktop browser. Sorry I can't tell you for sure. If I had an ipad I would surely look for you though :-)
