Sorry .. its the wrong kind of brown ! Haha Catch and release record carp
35 3/4 inches caught it in the marsh ... would you claim it??? [cool]

No! I had a C&R record fish once from the Webe that I didn't claim . Utah Sucker[:|]. I'm sure quite a few others also could have claimed that title as well but didn't. They dropped keeping track of records for suckers, they should do the same with carp. Keep working on the brown trout C&R.

I'd claim it, a fish is a fish. I dont mind that they keep track of carp or any type of species for that matter. If you catch a big fish you might as well get the kudos. Just my 2 cents.
I actually think its interesting to see how big each fish is, and yes i have specifically looked up the carp record before.

You are so my Hero.

Did you weight it? That's a beast alright. Bet he put up a good fight!
Steal our catfish bait?
Well I was specifically targeting them so I figure why not ! It was caught on a joeski Custom carp dough .. I make it at home it works better than anything else I have found

Turn it in man, that way people will try to beat it, like you said you were targeting carp and your not the only one that targets carp. I've had a c&r record utah sucker, its just a piece of paper and my son allready wants to beat it it sets the standerd for all species of fish, and when you get close it gets the heart a pumping and you set your mind to meet that goal

Freakin' awesome. Carp or not, that is a beast of a fish.

That's a hog. Carp are only disappointing to catch when you think you've got something else on.

Dude, I can't believe you're actually touching that with your hands. [crazy]

Everyone has fish they hate to catch, they love to catch, they prefer to catch, they love to eat, they would never eat, they love for their fight or their difficulty in catching, they hate for their fight or ease of catching and so on and so on. So if you would have applied for the brown trout C & R record, you should apply for the carp one as well. That's a huge carp and they are often spooky fish, so it is an accomplishment.
Joe, you catch fish because you love them, not because someone else does. So if someone else doesn't like catching them, well they may be missing out. With all that being said, sure would have liked to see the 36 inch brown trout in your hands.

Hey riverdog, I would be another one with that record ha ha, 26 incher. I always wondered how common big suckers were, glad im not the only one who has had the displeasure of having to get a hook out of a fat suckers fleshy mouth!

Looks like the south dike behind him doesn't it. Maybe those ponds there?
