Got to lake at 11 and slow fishing for 2 hours one LMB and couple of sunfish bout 4 inchers. Moved over to my new honey hole and One after another for 3 hours they were fast and furius waided out past the trees and casted along the edge of the reeds and that was the honey hole. I have not had a day like that before may when they go nuts. Kept 6 of the biggest for a fry will post pics tomorrow. Here is the honey hole I will give the coridance it is tagged on my gps unit and attached a map. I also found another hotspot were the road is flooded on north side of lake back truck up and fished out of the bed and kept nailing sunfish and bluegill. Got bored with all the fish and left to go take the kids to see the lorax!

Nice to see a pelican report...not many of those these days. Sounds like you had a good day out there. I love it when you can not keep the bluegill off of the hook and when they disappear I get ready for the lurking LMB in the area...then after it is caught the bluegills are back. Of course this is at mantua, not pelican. Might just have to try going out there one day...but considering gas prices and all not likely anytime soon. When you say sunfish are you talking Green Sunfish as well as bluegills? Thanks for you post.
